AMADPOC provides advisory and technical support to a number of international, government and non-governmental organisations on migration related issues in Sub-Saharan Africa. It works with leading national and regional experts in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) providing guidance and insights on the migration and development situation in the respective countries and regions. AMADPOC is an active member of the National Coordination Mechanism for Migration (NCM) in Kenya, AMADPOC supports the mechanism by providing evidence on migration related activities that impact on policy responses. the NCM is a coordinating platform on migration issues with state and non-state actors.
AMADPOC is also an active member of the Technical Working Group at the United Nations Migration Network on Irregular Migration in Kenya and a co chair of the United Nations Migration Network Migration and Development Technical Working Group (2021 - 2022). AMADPOC continues to provide on going support to the IOM offices in Eastern and Southern Africa by supporting research and dialoguing activities within the region.
